The ‘Highgrove Suite’
One of Claire’s major projects in the next twelve months will be the performance and recording of a Royal Commissioned concerto with The Philharmonia Orchestra, and conductor Owain Arwel Hughes. This brand new concerto for harp called the 'Highgrove Suite' is composed by Patrick Hawes, a past Classic FM Composer In Residence. The first movement, Goddess of the Woods, supported by the Victor Salvi Foundation was premiered at HRH The Prince of Wales’ 60th birthday celebration at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. This was Claire’s debut solo performance with the Philharmonia Orchestra in the presence of TRH The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. It was broadcast live on Classic FM.
