Recital at Topkapi Palace, Istanbul
Claire was very kindly invited to perform at Istanbul Music Festival in June, where she performed alongside two other distinguished International soloists, Halit Turgay, Professor at the Istanbul University State Conservatory Istanbul, and Ashan Pillai, Principal Viola of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, and Professor at the Conservatoire Superior Barcelona. They performed a trio recital in the splendid surroundings in open air outside the Palace, including works by Richard Rodney Bennett, Bax Elegiac trio, Ravel’s Sonatine, and the Debussy Trio.
