Pembrokeshire Schools' Tour
Claire was supported by 'Menter Iaith Sir Benfro' to conduct several workshops in primary schools close to her home town of Crymych . She visited Crymych, Maenlochog, Eglwyswrw primary schools, and Fishguard Welsh Language Unit. The week came to an end with a special concert for parents and children at her old secondary school Ysgol Y Preseli where some of the children were invited to play alongside her on stage.
Claire intends on pursuing this project with great enthusiasm, as she thoroughly enjoyes inspiring children and people of all ages to begin learning the harp. "I saw over 300 children over that week, and it was wonderful to see the look on their faces - it took me back to the time when I first layed eyes on the harp...it was a fantastic sight and I really enjoyed my time with them!"
Throughout the week Claire appeared on the S4C news programme 'Ffeil', Radio Cymru, Radio Pembrokeshire, and articles appeared in Clebran and the Tivyside advertiser.
