Claire Jones will be hosting a very special event and fundraiser in order to help raise money to support the Claire Jones Concert Ensemble during their UK Tour in July 2020. This harp course provides unique and high profile performance opportunities and life experience for many young harpists from our community and beyond.  The ensemble will also be sharing the proceeds of this special event with Cylch Meithrin Crymych, who sadly suffered flooding last year and are very reliant on support from donations to help with the every day running of the school. Meithrin are such a vitally important part of so many children’s lives in our community, young children are exceptionally well cared for, nutured and educated to the highest standard before attending Primary school.

The evening will commence at 7pm, there will be a 3 course meal of cawl, roast dinner and desert. The evening entertainment will be provided by the UK’s best-selling Harpist Claire Jones, Westend Percussionist Chris Marshall, Gruffydd Wyn (Britain's Got Talent)and the Claire Jones Concert Ensemble. There will also be personal appearances from Rhydian Roberts ( X Factor ) and Mari Grug ( Presnter S4C ).

Price per person £35 (Each table can accommodate up to 10 people)

There will also be an fundraising auction which will take place during the evening. We would be so very grateful for any gifts or experiences that you / family or business may be able to donate in order to raise money for these two wonderful organisations in our community.

Claire, the Claire Jones Concert Ensemble and Cylch Meithrin Crymych would be truly delighted if you could join them for this very special evening.

‘I cannot thank my local community, friends and family enough for all they have done to support me in my life journey. I am proud and privileged to have attended Cylch Meithrin Crymych, Ysgol Gynradd Crymych, and Ysgol Y Preseli School, before graduating from the Royal Academy and Royal College of Music, London. Cylch Meithrin is such a vital aspect of a child’s development. They emphasise language development and the personal, social and emotional development in a child’s life. It was the best start to my educational journey before naturally progressing onto Primary and Secondary education. As many already know, in 2018 my husband and I moved home from London to Efailwen . We are both so passionate and determined for our daughter Cadi Haf to receive exactly the same Welsh speaking education as I did. I have experienced first hand the love and kindness within our community for one another and so that is why I am offering my whole-hearted thanks and support to Cylch Meithrin Crymych. Cadi has now settled into her first term there and the staff have been truly wonderful. They have shown Cadi and all the other children such care, kindness and encouragement - all she talks about is how she looks forward to seeing Miss Wendy, Miss Michelle and Miss Wendy John each week!

I would be sincerely thankful if you could consider joining us on March the 1st 2020, it promises to be a very memorable evening indeed. ‘
